Roofing and Insulation in Fortuna Foothills, AZ

Fortuna Foothills is our second home. It sits about 10 miles east of our Yuma shop along Interstate 8, and it is one of the fastest-growing parts of the Yuma market, full of tile-roofed homes, newer subdivisions and snowbird retirees who expect their roofs to hold up season after season.

A Short Drive East of Yuma

From our shop at 12351 S Avenue 4E, most of Fortuna Foothills is a 15- to 20-minute drive. That matters when a monsoon storm blows through: we can be on a Foothills roof within the hour for an emergency, and we can schedule regular repair and replacement work without the logistical overhead of a long trip.

Roof Types We Work On in Fortuna Foothills

Fortuna Foothills has a different roofing profile from older parts of Yuma. Subdivisions built from the 1990s forward lean heavily on concrete and clay tile, with stucco walls and architectural shingle on the less expensive homes. The work we do here reflects that:

  • Tile roofing. Clay and concrete tile repair and re-roofing are a major part of our Fortuna Foothills work. Broken tiles, cracked underlayment, and flashing failures are the usual suspects.
  • Asphalt shingle. Architectural shingle on starter and mid-range homes. We install GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, Malarkey, and Tamko shingles.
  • Roof coatings. Cool-roof coatings on flat and low-slope sections of Foothills homes and on the commercial buildings along Foothills Boulevard.
  • Spray foam insulation. Foothills summers run the same 115°F+ as Yuma proper. Closed-cell spray foam on the roof deck is a major cooling-bill reducer.

Snowbirds, Retirees and Absentee Owners

A large share of Fortuna Foothills homeowners split their time between Arizona and somewhere cooler. That changes what a roofing contractor needs to do. We are set up for it:

  • We coordinate repairs and replacements around your travel schedule so work is done before or while you are away.
  • Written estimates and documentation can be sent by email and reviewed remotely.
  • Our paid certified roof inspection ($100, with a written report) is designed for exactly this situation, pre-purchase, pre-sale or absentee-owner peace of mind.
  • Senior discounts are offered on every project. Just mention it when we talk.
